Powerful

Watching Sammi’s concert DVD over the weekend has brought me some thoughts in the mind. POWERFUL, is the word kept flowing in my mind. I can feel God’s power within her. She has a goal in the concert. She has a message to give. She’s not afraid to show what God is all about, and she is doing it with a PASSION. Watching some of her older concerts at the karaoke really have a big contrast and show how much changes she had. We as a Christian, beside going to church every week, do we really understand what it means to be living within Christ, and Christ within us? If you ask me to explain that, I don't know if I'll be able to. I think I've been through that before, but have I lost it?

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

Relating back to a message I read from a book by Fred Smith. It talks about Disciplined Motivation. A lot of time we are so busy serving God. The question is ‘are we satisfied for being busy serving God?’ Often we have a direction but not goal. We are busy running around serving God, but not achieving anything. In the book, it suggests us to set a definite GOAL and write it down. Then we need to pursue with a burning DESIRE, and this desire needs to be maintained and sustained with DISCIPLINE. We need to focus on work that brings us closer to our goal, and avoid the rest.

In all hard work there is profit, but merely talking about it only brings poverty (Proverbs 14:23)
